ABOUT US

מי אנחנו

Torrey Language School is WASC accredited. Western Association for Schools and Colleges has registered us in their porfolio which allows TLS to present students with a private SEP transcript to be submitted to colleges around the United States. Students can choose to submit a TLS transcript or to have their grade posted on their school's transcript.

The mission of Torrey Language School LLC is to teach modern Hebrew in an invigorating way. We would like to share our values of learning, culture and the thrill of curiosity. The school’s ideology is built on the foundation that we should sustain and enrich students to complete a well-balanced multi-faceted lingual education.

Our goal is to give San Diego students enrichment beyond the basic language skills. We believe that language should be taught with cultural meaning, with an understanding of context, linguistic roots, grammar, and even humor.

Students will participate in classes in Hebrew that focus on reading, oral proficiency and comprehension, verb conjugation, grammar and cursive writing. The content of our lessons will be based on Israeli cultural framework that interests children, youth, and teens. We offer separate tracks for students from Hebrew and English-speaking homes and accept students of any background.

Torrey language School is open to students from 7th to 12th grade interested in studying for their high school credit requirements or just for joy and advancement.
